death, break-ups, and yes, even final shows
so here we go...
about two weeks ago, the weekly comedy show, The Pretty Okay ho-hum Spectacular on Ice came to an end. do i miss it? i do.
it was a big bloody, touching and often funny show and it ended in a blast, with a proper send off. for those who were there, i can only hope they will never forget it and those who weren't there, i can only hope they never hear the end of it.
picking up the peices and moving on is tough with any endevor in life. from deaths, break-ups, and yes, even final shows. thing is, i have had to deal with them all in these past weeks.
after the final show, i had to fly home for a funeral. while in nebraska, i stopped moving so fast and without a sunday show on my mind as well, i cleared my head and found things i wish i had found many months ago. i'm sorry i wasn't honest with myself until it was too late, Maria.
but it's not all pain and sadness. this ending is only the beginning of better times to come. the Spectacular on Ice sunday show was the best and has brought me much confidence as well as giving me great knowledge for the future. and i know that i will only do grander, wilder things now. things that will make the sunday show look like chopped liver.
thank you to all that suported the sunday show. it would of never half as fun or grand without all of you there enjoying four geeks with a bunch of wigs and oversized props made at home with cardboard and foamcore.
i hug the sunday show goodbye ...and turn around with open arms.
