In addition to sending me what Xmas gifts I couldn't fit in my bag when I left to come back to LA, my parents added the following.  Yes, it IS a book with full color pictures and a DVD!

In a matter of weeks, I'll be able to help any cat suffering from following:
Abrasions
Allergies
Birthing Emergencies (Dystocia)
Bone Dislocation
Broken Back/Neck
Burns
Car Accident
Choking
Dehydration
Electric Shock (ie: Electric Cord Bites)
Fading Kitten Syndrome
Fever
Fishhook Injuries
Frostbite
Gunshot Wounds
Nosebleeds
Poisoning
Rectal Prolapse
Smoke Inhalation
Strangulation
Tail Swelling/Injury
Venomous Bites and Sting (ie: Snakes, Scorpions and Toads)
and the ever popular Anal Sac Swelling

Yes sir!  I'll be a Kitty Mother, Jugs and Speed!

Well, I got 120 pages to read and a DVD to watch.  I wish I was kidding, but I seriously want to be certified in Cat First Aid and CPR.  And just think, it will look great on a resume!

fading kitten syndrome???? that sounds very upsetting! do they have a treatment for the unstoppable appetite? papi has an eating disorder i think, all he wants is food. i've re-named him frodo-beggins.

I know. I read about it and it sounds a lot like Infant Death Syndrome but for KIttens. Very sad.
