64 and 6 days left
i just realized that the year is almost over- just two months left. 64 days until Christmas and then only 6 days after that- hello 2006.
jeeeesh, this year went by fast. and what a year at that. feels like i've been on a losing streak forever. ...nnahhh, it wasn't all bad- but mostly it wasn't good either. lost love, lost friends, lost family memebers- but at least after four years of looking here in LA, i finally found a good job that pays well.
but to be honest; if there's such a thing as krama, then 2005 must be the backlash for 2004. if so, i think i've learned my lesson. you can stop now buddha. i get it.
and now it's almost Halloween leading us into "the holiday season", which isn't nothing but weeks and weeks of sentimental televison commericals, cheesey decorations and reminders that there's only so many shopping days left.
not a huge fan of "the holiday season", but i do like Thanksgiving. this year, one would think that i wouldn't have much to be thankful for, but i am thankful for all my regrets, my bad krama, my good times, my past loves- ahhh, i just thankful because all in all i have a pretty good life and i've learned alot about myself this year.
i think i'll go home for bit longer than just a weekend this year. and then next year, i'm going to take a big fat vacation and travel somewhere i've never been. perhaps Austraila or Japan. ...yeah, i like that thought.
here's to a good end to 2005 and an even better 2006.
